So last year we got invited to do gingerbread houses with another family in the ward. The mom actually made homemade gingerbread! My kids had a great time, so this year we invited some friends over during Christmas break to decorate gingerbread houses (they were store-bought and pre-cut...what a time saver!) We invited friends that had siblings so that each family could take their own home. It was a little tricky by myself because they needed a lot of help holding it together while the frosting dried, but they turned out cute. The sad part was when one family left to get in the car, their dad dropped their gingerbread house on the ground! Too bad I forgot to take pictures when they were done or they could have shown that to their mom!
